Lunch at Lobster Bar, Island Shangri-La Hotel

Lunch buffet at HK$568++ per person. The baked cheese lobster has too strong smell. Seems like the herb baked lobster taste better. Dessert was good. The lobster in the salad is a bit hard.

When the waiter ask us whether we want something to drink before ordering and I said water. Wrong choice of answer. THen she asked whther mineral water or sparkling. I said mineral and she said is Evian OK? This answer cost me HK$110. Next time must say want tap water!

Another new beauty toy. Apparently it cleanse really well and have a lot of benefits. I have to try for some time before I can evaluate. Cost HK$1460 bought at Joyce Beauty, a pretty expensive toy.

Dr Ci La Bo - Dr Sonic L Beauty Machine

My new toy, J told me that this is good and her sister tried it, so I bought to try. And I also bought a lot of Dr Ci La Bo products. Will need to use a lot of gel for the ultrasound function, wow, will be very expensive.

I tried a number of times on the cleansing function but can't see brownish or greyish dirt on the cotton, unlike some others. Why? Is it because I didn't know how to use it or my skin is too clean?

My Trip To Taipei - 27 April to 1 May 2012

I spent the Labour Day weekend break at Taipei. It was so unfortunate the flight got delayed from 8pm to 11pm and I was waiting on the plane. The reason for the delay was due to the amber rain warning in HK.

28 April 2012
We went to Din Tai Fung for lunch, then went for ice drink. After that we went to "Dan Sui" and Fisherman Village. At night we went to Shilin Market for dinner.

29 April 2012
We went for breakfast near the hotel. We then went to Mitsukoshi for shopping and had lunch at the food court. J bought a lot of Ci La Bo products. We then moved on to Sogo. We met up with J's friend for dinner at the Osaka teppanyaki restaurant behind Sogo. We then went to a nearby bookstore to buy books.

30 April 2012
We woke up in the morning and went to eat soya bean and fried dough for breakfast. We then went to buy cheese stick. We went for lunch again at the Osaka teppanyaki restaurant. It was so delicious. We then went Sogo for shopping. We went back to another Misukoshi near our hotel for shopping. We went to another night market at night for dinner.

Tips
Upon arrival at the Taipei airport, should buy a phone card with unlimited data internet usage and some free minutes of voice call. The price is reasonable, about TWD500 for 5 days. It's at the left hand side of the main exit of Taipei airport and it's called Taiwan Da Ge Da.
