Shopping in New York

Just realised a few things I need to do the next time I go to New York/ United States:

1) Immediately shop online for Victoria Secret
2) Shop at Sephora - for Kiehls
3) Buy Tiffany stuff
4) Woodbury Outlet (only if you need to buy the following) - Coach, Kate Spade and Juicy

My Business Trip To New York - 20 Aug to 9 Sept 2012

The Andaz Wall Street was really good, I booked the King room and was upgraded to Andaz Large King room. Best hotel ever for my business trips. The breakfast was really good as we are free to order a la carte on whatever we want using the daily free US25 breakfast voucher. The hotel was also very convenient, located near a few subway stations.

I have concluded that the food in NY is just horrible, there's only a few places with reasonable food, i.e. the onion soup in G??? near my office is good. Pretz cookies was also good. The dessert (peanut butter pie) at Bridge cafe (picture above) was also good.

Day 1

We walked to Ground Zero which was very near the hotel.

We then went to the Natural History Museum, after paying entrance fee of US$21, I realised we can actually donate money instead of paying the entrance fee, and that could save a lot of money.

We then went to 5th Avenue at 55th Street to walk around.

Day 2

Woke up very early to go to Statue of Liberty. Since we were early, the queue at the custom was not long and we got on the ferry quite quickly. It was worth it to visit.

After that we stopped by Ellis Island which was not too interesting.

Day 4

Went Woodsbury shopping for the whole day. It's only worth it to visit if you want to buy Coach, Kate Spade or Juicy. Otherwise price is not really cheap and nothing too attractive.
