Changed this with my SCB Credit Card points. The retail price is HK$999, changed it with 199,000 points. Must use distilled water/ purified water, gosh... must I buy a filter for this? Used it once last few days, pour in 1/2 cup of water. Lasted for 3 minutes. Not as hot as expected, hope it works....

Dr Ci La Bo - Dr Sonic L Beauty Machine

My new toy, J told me that this is good and her sister tried it, so I bought to try. And I also bought a lot of Dr Ci La Bo products. Will need to use a lot of gel for the ultrasound function, wow, will be very expensive.

I tried a number of times on the cleansing function but can't see brownish or greyish dirt on the cotton, unlike some others. Why? Is it because I didn't know how to use it or my skin is too clean?

New camera bought - Sony NEX-5N Twin Lense

I bought a new camera today as my old camera was purchased 3 years ago and it takes awful pictures especially night scene. Initially I wanted to buy Nikon J1 because the pink colour limited edition is so attractive, but based on review, the picture quality is so so only. After that I decided to buy this Sony NEX-5N which obtained much better review in picture quality. This camera is out of stock in Hong Kong due to the Thailand flood.

I had to buy in Malaysia at retail price without any discount because I am desperate to get that camera before my London trip. In Malaysia the stock was also limited, I only managed to get the camera after checking with about 8 shops.

I did not regret buying this camera as the picture quality was good, and my skin looked smooth and fair in the pictures taken......Good buy....Total cost for this camera is HKD7,628 inclusive of 2 filters, 1 additional battery and 2 lense package.

HiMedia 560T Media Player

I bought something very hi-tech today. I bought a TV last week and was very happy to be able to watch a lot of new channels, but 1 setback, I was not able to record those shows with my Philips DVD recorder. The samsund TV specification mentioned that it can support SRT but I can't watch the subtitle.

A colleague recommended HiMedia player, and I ended up buying. This made in China media player is so useful. Hehe, I can record all my favourite show in HD! And I can also watch all my MV and dramas with subtitle, don't need to watch it through my laptop anymore.

IT generation......

Final profit from sales of last batch of I Phone 4

The sales of I Phone 4 was officially launched on 31 July 2010. I have received my 2nd batch and last batch of I phone 4 on 15 September and 24 September 2010 respectively. I am supposed to receive the last batch of I phone on 15 Sept too, but because of the stupid Apple that made mistake and block my delivery, I have effectively lost HK$4k+.

I realised Apple have extremely bad customer service. I have not encountered any customer service that is either
1) engaged for the whole day
2) when it is not engaged, after you key in the relevant options, the automated message tells you that their customer service is busy and not free to answer your call, ask you to call back later and cut off your line
3) when you are so lucky that they do not cut off your line, you can experience waiting for as long as 5 hours and yet there is no one who answered your call!!! In one instance, I started calling as early as 8.50am (although the operating hours is 9am), managed to get on the queue and waited till after lunch at 2pm+ and still no one answer my call!

Below is the summary of my earnings for I Phone 4:
Batch 1 - Sold 1 32 GB on 30 Aug for HK$7,450
Batch 2 - Sold 1 16 GB on 11 Sept for HK$6,400
Batch 3 - Sold 1 32 GB on 13 Sept for HK$7,000
Batch 4 - Sold 4 32 GB on 15 Sept for HK$7,050
Batch 5 - Sold 4 32 GB on 1 Oct for HK$5,950

So effectively, I paid HK$354 for me new I Phone 32 GB and get 2 free 2 year mobile phone contract from "3" and Smartone.

Not a bad exercise :)

First batch of I Phone 4 received from Apple Store

I have The first batch of I phone 4 ordered on 21 Aug was supposed to be shipped on 13 Sept and arrived on 17 Sept. I was waiting so eagerly for the phone when I suddenly received a shipment notification on 6 Sept 11:48pm that my order has been shipped by DHL. I was so eager and not sure when I will receive my I Phone since it will be delivered to my office. I was about to call DHL to check the status when my colleague passed 2 boxes to me at 10am on 7 Sept! My I Phone has arrived! So efficient.

I was hoping the price was going to increase for 16GB on weekend and I did not sell immediately, although the price was HK$6,650. However, the price has decreased after Tuesday and I finally sold it today, Saturday at HK$6,400.

I kept the 32GB I Phone for my own use, and I am currently enjoying myself with my new I Phone.

Selling I Phone 4 In Hong Kong

When I Phone 4 was launched in HK in July, I thought those people who queued up at midnight to buy the i phone must be crazy. After a few days, I learnt from my colleague that her sister queued up to buy the I Phone and sold it after a few days at HK$10k+, when the cost was only HK$5,888. Now I understand why there are so many people who queue up!

After 2 weeks, I saw a lot of people queueing up outside a restaurant to purchase I Phone sold by "3", and the brochure said that "you can get the I Phone immediately". It will usually take a few weeks to get hold of your phone after you place the order. I again thought what is the rush to get the phone, it is more expensive and I might as well order through my company's corporate plan at a cheaper monthly rate.

The next day, I learnt that my colleague bought 2 phones and still managed to sell it on the same day at HK$8,800. I really didn't expect that the resale price is still so high after 2 weeks.

So I decided to order for the phone immediately (through "3"), on 11 August and I received the phone at 30 Aug when I went back to HK. I sold it immediately at HK$7,450, I paid HK$7,732 for the phone and 24 months contract ($248 per month), so in effect my earnings are paying HK$300 for my phone and 24 months contract. However, I learnt that the resale price has increased to HK$7,800 today! Huh, I lost HK$350 already :(

I actually ordered another phone through "Smartone" on 20 August and called the sales today to check when will my phone arrive. Apparently there is shortage of stock and I can only get it in another 2 weeks time...huh...I want to get it and sell it as soon as possible.

I also ordered a few more phones from Apple store, I hope I can receive it soon and sell it, and use the earnings to buy I Pad :)

2 I Phone ordered on 21 Aug, expected delivery date is 17 Sept
4 I Phone ordered on 31 Aug midnight, expected delivery date is 29 Sept
4 I Phone ordered on 1 Sept, expected delivery date is 14 Oct (the delivery time has increased from3 weeks to 5 weeks, hope I can make more money due to the fact of short supply)

Below are links I found that updates the daily price of HK I Phone:

My New Canon Ixus 200IS camera

I just bought a new Canon camera today.I was quite impressed with my new Canon camera. I bought it at Broadway at HK$2,980 - metallic blue colour. I was quite impressed with the new features of the new camera (maybe because my previous camera was too old and outdated)

Didn't regret buying it.
