La Maison Du Chocolat Paris - Chocolate tart

Since I like tarts and chocolates, there is no way for me not to try this, although the price is very expensive, HK$45/48 each (can't remember exactly). It's not bad actually, but the chocolate is in "liquid" form, and not as nice as I expected. However, I believe I will still buy when I have the urge to try it.

Dinner at Peninsula Hotel Japanese Restaurant, Imasa

Today I had dinner at Peninsula Hotel's Imasa. First time having a meal in the high class Peninsula Hotel. Luckily have a friend working in this hotel, so can enjoy 50% discount for this buffet dinner. The original price without discount is HK$498+10%.

The variety is limited, however the type of food provided are of high quality. It has delicious cawan mushi that I love, long leg crab, grilled cod fish, sashimi and sushi. I was too busy talking to my friends and eating, so forgot to take pictures of all the food.

I enjoyed this meal, and ate a lot.... wish I can eat more.... but poor me, have to put in a lot of effort to go on diet after this. Thanks to my friend for organising this.

Clock and Sea Shell Toilet Accessories

I saw this newly opened shop in Tsim Sha Tsui, selling mainly China made products. I have seen some items sold there being sold in taobao, and the shop sold it at 3 times the price in Taobao.

Although I know they marked up the price a lot, I still set my eye on the above bathroom accessories. It looks nice and I finally bought it for my new house. It's no easy job to carry it home, quite heavy. This set cost HK$150.

I also bought the clock at HK$150, it looks nice although I am very doubtful how long it can last. Based on my previous experience, electronic stuff made in China can't last more than 1 year (I am referring to those cheap ones sold)

Lunch at Watami Japanese Restaurant

Had lunch with mum at Watami today. Mum tried seafood stone rice, it was quite nice. The salmon cheese omelet, scallop cheese ball and mango prawn was quite nice. I like the mango prawn best, it is actually a salad. I realised Watami added calarie information for all their food in the menu. This is very helpful .... haha, the calories I consumed for today's lunch is >1300 calories.... really have to go on diet next week. Bill comes up to HK$158.

Dinner at Maxim's Palace

Maxim's Palace is having a promotion offer for HSBC's credit card holder. HK$336 for the above dishes (original price >HK$500). I brought mum to have dinner here. Food is not bad, after adding all the tea and tit bits charges and 10% service tax, the bill came up to HK$400. Mum said this is more worth it compared to the dim sum yesterday.

New clothes and bag purchased

It has been so long since I last went shopping (I wanted to save money, so prevented myself from going shopping, haha). However, since mum is here, I have to bring her for shopping. Of course, I ended up buying.... I bought this Viva shoes, it's really worth is, price wise and also the design is very. It is very comfortable too and I like the colour, so I ended up buying 2 pairs! I also bought this t-shirt, the lady told me it is made from Paris (err..I am a bit doubtful). However, after trying at home, the cutting is really very nice and the material is very soft and comfortable too, unlike the normal materials I see, hehe,....perhaps it is really made in Paris. I like it so much, the dog is so cute!

Dim Sum Lunch at Yat Tung Heen 逸東軒 Wan Chai

I have been here once with colleague and find the dim sum quite nice, a lot of varieties and reasonable price. I especially like the "cha siew sou". When mum visited me, I decided to bring her here to try the nice dim sum. However, I realised that they have a different set of menu for weekday and weekend/public holiday. Hence, the dim sum available today are limited and they do not have those dim sum that I like. Prices are also more expensive, without discount.

Above are the dim sum and mee we ordered, and the bill cost me HK$330, very expensive and the food are so so only this time round. Mum complained that it is not worth it.
